Summary
The Operations Controller supports store operations by managing the stockroom, ensuring inventory accuracy, and assisting management with operational, service, facilities, and compliance issues. This role promotes a luxury client experience and requires strong communication, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Execute shipping and receiving processes and resolve related issues
- Manage movement of merchandise including transfers and returns
- Assist management in identifying and resolving operational process problems
- Maintain clear and accurate operations documents and procedures
- Submit required tax and exemption forms as received
- Communicate inventory discrepancies and operational issues to management
- Process repairs and damages according to company guidelines
- Assist with physical maintenance of the boutique and order supplies
- Oversee cycle counts, scheduled inventories, and reconciliations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year of administrative or stock experience, preferably in a luxury environment
- Familiarity with internal retail systems and shipping software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook
- Ability to meet physical requirements such as lifting and climbing ladders
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
