Job Description

Summary

The Operations Controller supports store operations by managing the stockroom, ensuring inventory accuracy, and assisting management with operational, service, facilities, and compliance issues. This role promotes a luxury client experience and requires strong communication, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Execute shipping and receiving processes and resolve related issues
  • Manage movement of merchandise including transfers and returns
  • Assist management in identifying and resolving operational process problems
  • Maintain clear and accurate operations documents and procedures
  • Submit required tax and exemption forms as received
  • Communicate inventory discrepancies and operational issues to management
  • Process repairs and damages according to company guidelines
  • Assist with physical maintenance of the boutique and order supplies
  • Oversee cycle counts, scheduled inventories, and reconciliations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of administrative or stock experience, preferably in a luxury environment
  • Familiarity with internal retail systems and shipping software
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Ability to meet physical requirements such as lifting and climbing ladders
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
