Job Description

Summary

The Operations Coordinator leads all back-of-house operations for the store, partnering with leadership to support the team and drive sales. The role acts as a key holder and manager on duty when managers are unavailable, overseeing order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, client service activities, and store opening and closing procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and coordinate daily operational tasks including order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, replenishment, and transfers.
  • Manage inventory accuracy and ensure compliance with internal control procedures.
  • Act as key holder and manager on duty, opening and closing the store as needed and coaching team members.
  • Support client service activities, capture customer data, and deepen client relationships to drive sales.
  • Handle jewelry intake, cleaning, and basic repair coordination per company processes.
  • Partner with sales professionals and management to respond to client and operational requests quickly and accurately.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of prior retail experience in retail operations with knowledge of merchandising, client service, administration, and shipping.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work retail store hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Organized, flexible, and able to perform varied tasks based on business needs.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
  • Preferred: college/university degree or Graduate Gemologist degree or GIA coursework.
