Summary
The Operations Coordinator leads back of house operations in a store, supporting sales and client service while acting as key holder and manager on duty when needed. The role coordinates order fulfillment, inventory, client service activities and store opening and closing tasks to ensure operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate order fulfillment, shipping, receiving and replenishment.
- Manage inventory accuracy and follow internal control procedures.
- Act as key holder and manager on duty in the absence of a manager.
- Support sales by capturing customer data and driving product pillars.
- Deliver exceptional client service and execute the guest experience.
- Clean jewelry and process jewelry repairs and merchandise maintenance.
- Partner with sales team and management to respond to client requests.
- Assist in coaching team members and coordinating work to improve performance.
- Provide feedback on process changes to support operational efficiency.
Requirements
- 2 years of prior retail experience in retail operations with knowledge of merchandising and administration.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to work retail store hours including nights weekends and holidays.
- Organized and detail oriented with flexibility to perform varied tasks.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- College degree preferred.
- Graduate Gemologist degree or GIA coursework preferred.
