Job Description

Summary

The Operations Coordinator leads back of house operations in a retail store, supporting inventory control, order fulfillment, client service, and acting as key holder and manager on duty when needed. This role partners with store leadership to drive sales goals and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily operational tasks including order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, and replenishment
  • Manage inventory accuracy and ensure compliance with internal control procedures
  • Coordinate merchandise transfers and handle jewelry repairs and cleaning
  • Act as key holder and manager on duty, opening and closing the store when required
  • Support sales by collecting customer data and assisting in achieving store sales plans
  • Partner with sales professionals and management to respond to client requests quickly and accurately
  • Mentor team members and provide feedback on process improvements
  • Implement standard processes to optimize hospitality and store amenities

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of prior retail experience in retail operations
  • Comprehensive knowledge of merchandising, client service, administration, and shipping
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to work retail store hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
