Job Description

Summary

The Operations Manager at the Cedar Rapids Fulfillment Center is a seasoned leader responsible for delivering on customer promises and driving results through effective team leadership and performance management. This role involves supporting business strategies, meeting financial standards, and implementing corrective actions to ensure operational excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Support business strategy by driving results for safety, quality, and performance.
  • Lead, develop, and grow a team of about 20 employees.
  • Recruit, select, onboard, and train resources.
  • Coach, counsel, and discipline employees while providing feedback on job performance.
  • Drive professional and technical knowledge through continuous learning and networking.
  • Own process improvement efforts through problem-solving and project management.
  • Meet financial standards by monitoring expenditures and implementing corrective actions.
  • Drive KPI metrics and facility performance scorecards.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of warehouse experience in a managerial role.
  • Proven capability in implementing CI actions for cost, service, and quality improvements.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop others and grow leadership competencies.
  • Strong knowledge of warehousing KPIs.
  • Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases.
  • Ability to analyze data and determine actions based on improvement opportunities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
