Job Description

Summary

As an Operations Manager at the Miami Design District, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day operations and improving processes to enhance customer service and retail operations. You will play a key role in implementing brand guidelines and providing innovative solutions to optimize store efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and implement key improvements and operational efficiencies to protect product assets and provide transparent reporting to the Store Manager.
  • Support the Store Manager in driving best practices and optimum processes.
  • Conduct training for new hires and follow-up training on store operating systems.
  • Act as the first point of contact for stock management and replenishment processes.
  • Lead operational projects and support the store and HQ during their launch.
  • Develop forecasting tools for accurate business planning.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to reduce costs and improve services.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
  • Monitor P&L aspects to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of retail experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and USA Retail Laws.
  • Strong commercial acumen and a passion for customer service.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and multitasking.
  • Ability to work a retail schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Foreign language skills are a plus.
