Summary
The Operations Manager will oversee and direct all boutique operational functions to ensure smooth running of inventory control, shipping and receiving, alterations, facilities management, security, staffing, compliance, and expense management while partnering with boutique leadership and the Home Office to drive operational efficiency and an elevated client experience.
Responsibilities
- Own all operational functions within the boutique including inventory control and loss prevention
- Manage shipping receiving and alterations processes
- Oversee facilities management and security procedures
- Lead resource planning staffing and operational scheduling
- Manage boutique expenses budget and forecasting
- Coach and lead operationally aligned staff and foster a positive team culture
- Serve as expert on standard operating procedures systems and tools and support boutique team
- Collaborate with Home Office Retail Operations to execute strategic initiatives
- Lead projects and take initiative to improve operational efficiency
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Strong organizational attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
- Excellent communication and people leadership skills
- Understanding of and passion for client experience
- Ability to lift 15 lbs and work flexible schedule including nights weekends and some holidays
- Comfortable managing budgets forecasting and operational compliance
- Foreign language skills preferred but not required
