Job Description

Summary

The Operations Manager is responsible for the overall operational function of the retail store in Houston, TX. This role involves managing inventory integrity, handling daily store accounting functions, and implementing operational procedures to maintain the store's appearance and functionality.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain overall store appearance, including preventive maintenance.
  • Manage all deliveries, including shipment, messenger, floral, and repairmen.
  • Maintain supply inventory for the store, including collateral and supplies.
  • Manage files for all receiving, transfer, shipping vendor, RTV, and adjustment paperwork.
  • Control store operational expenses and strive to reduce costs.
  • Support loss prevention in all areas of risk management and inventory management.
  • Facilitate store maintenance projects such as painting, repairs, and carpet cleaning.
  • Manage all inventory control procedures within the store.
  • Ensure all merchandise is properly received, ticketed, and logged.
  • Perform all functions correctly on Cegid Y2 and troubleshoot IT issues.
  • Provide direction and support to subordinates and ensure proper implementation of company directives.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of retail sales experience, preferably in the luxury market.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office and inventory software.
