Job Description

Summary

The Operations Manager drives operational excellence and compliance for a new boutique, overseeing day-to-day processes, financial controls, inventory management, logistics, and the development of the operations team to support transactional activities and client experience.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure execution of all Maison policies and maintain operational compliance within the boutique
  • Implement and maintain opening and closing procedures and daily setup and breakdown
  • Oversee movement of product including shipments transfers consignments and in boutique handling
  • Manage inventory control processes including counts stock movements and annual inventory
  • Oversee financial aspects of boutique sales and ensure timely accurate transaction paperwork
  • Manage boutique supply inventory replenishment and implement Lean 5S organization strategies
  • Lead audits partner with management to execute action plans and maintain visual standards
  • Serve as key user for operational tools support testing training and adoption
  • Partner with regional and corporate teams to resolve operational issues and exceed KPIs

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business related field
  • 5 years of operations management experience in luxury retail environment
  • Experience leading leaders and managing direct reports
  • Excellent computer skills including advanced Excel SAP knowledge preferred
  • Ability to work retail hours including evenings weekends and travel for trainings and events
  • Strong analytical organizational and interpersonal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks accurately
  • Demonstrated leadership ability to motivate develop and hold teams accountable
