Summary
The Operations Manager drives operational excellence and compliance for a new boutique, overseeing day-to-day processes, financial controls, inventory management, logistics, and the development of the operations team to support transactional activities and client experience.
Responsibilities
- Ensure execution of all Maison policies and maintain operational compliance within the boutique
- Implement and maintain opening and closing procedures and daily setup and breakdown
- Oversee movement of product including shipments transfers consignments and in boutique handling
- Manage inventory control processes including counts stock movements and annual inventory
- Oversee financial aspects of boutique sales and ensure timely accurate transaction paperwork
- Manage boutique supply inventory replenishment and implement Lean 5S organization strategies
- Lead audits partner with management to execute action plans and maintain visual standards
- Serve as key user for operational tools support testing training and adoption
- Partner with regional and corporate teams to resolve operational issues and exceed KPIs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a business related field
- 5 years of operations management experience in luxury retail environment
- Experience leading leaders and managing direct reports
- Excellent computer skills including advanced Excel SAP knowledge preferred
- Ability to work retail hours including evenings weekends and travel for trainings and events
- Strong analytical organizational and interpersonal communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks accurately
- Demonstrated leadership ability to motivate develop and hold teams accountable
