Summary
The Operations Manager oversees the boutique's non-selling functions as part of the leadership team. This role manages daily store operations, including payroll, point-of-sale functions, shipping and receiving, loss prevention, facilities, and expense control.
Responsibilities
- Produce and maintain operational reports and records in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Keep back-of-house operations organized and oversee store opening, closing, and security procedures.
- Assist with payroll management and associate scheduling while ensuring payroll budget compliance.
- Help resolve issues affecting service, efficiency, and productivity, and provide outstanding customer service.
- Oversee facilities, equipment, shipping and receiving, after-sales processes, supply orders, and loss prevention.
- Support workforce development and exercise sound judgment in day-to-day store operations.
Requirements
- Ability to manage store operations, including payroll, customer service, shipping and receiving, alterations, and facilities.
- Ability to maintain workforce records and documentation and operate point-of-sale, inventory, security, and office systems.
- Ability to develop and train employees, prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment, and communicate clearly.
