Summary
Lead store operations and processes to ensure efficient stockroom management, accurate inventory, and exceptional client service. Partner with the Store Director to manage day to day operations, coaching staff and maintaining operational standards across the boutique. Support shipping receiving, inventory reconciliation, and operational improvements to drive commercial performance.
Responsibilities
- Drive and develop operational excellence across store processes
- Assess operations and propose strategic improvements
- Train new hires and existing staff on operating policies and procedures
- Coach and develop direct reports in operations customer service and sales support
- Act as Manager on Duty and assist with floor coverage and store openings and closings
- Oversee shipping receiving transfers damages and repairs processing
- Ensure accurate organized inventory including cycle counts and scheduled inventories
- Liaise with corporate departments such as Operations Inventory Control and Accounts Payable
- Maintain clear operations documentation and resolve process issues timely
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years operations experience in retail luxury retail or service industry
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to analyze information prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook
- Strong organizational skills and experience with internal retail systems and shipping software
- Experience training and developing operations staff
- Ability to travel for store openings closures and remodels within the region
- Authorized to work in the United States
