Summary
The Operations Manager will lead store operations and support the Store Director to ensure efficient stockroom management, accurate inventory, and exceptional client service. This role requires oversight of daily operational processes, staff training, and collaboration with corporate departments to drive operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop operational excellence across the store
- Assess operations and recommend strategic improvements
- Train new hires and existing staff on operating policies and procedures
- Coach direct reports on operations customer service and sales support
- Serve as Manager on Duty and assist with floor coverage and store opening and closing
- Manage shipping receiving transfers damages and repairs processes
- Oversee cycle counts scheduled inventories and reconciliations
- Maintain clear operations documentation and address discrepancies promptly
- Coordinate orders for store and office supplies and assist with store maintenance
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of operations experience in retail luxury retail or service industry preferably supervisory
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to analyze information prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook
- Experience with internal retail systems and shipping software
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to train and support operations managers in other locations
- Willingness to travel for store openings closures and remodels
