Job Description

Summary

As an Operations Manager at Hermès Orlando, you will oversee all operational functions to support the client experience in a fast-paced, luxury environment. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will work collaboratively with the sales and support teams to ensure operational efficiency and growth.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee inventory control, housekeeping, maintenance, and selling service associates.
  • Adhere to P&L budget for all operational areas and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Manage shipping and receiving department and ensure timely movement of merchandise.
  • Oversee cash handling procedures and contribute to retail management team as needed.
  • Ensure workflow of all after-sales service and manage inventory control associates.
  • Liaise with corporate construction and maintenance department and outside vendors.
  • Ensure functionality of IT and phone systems and act as a liaison with outside vendors.
  • Manage operational team and vendors, ensuring appropriate scheduling and training.
  • Coordinate evacuation drills and provide emergency response training.
  • Oversee operations and after-sales supply orders and staff sales.
  • Train staff to ensure compliance with operational policies and procedures.
  • Recruit and maintain an active talent bank for operational positions.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of retail management experience in a similar role, luxury environment preferred.
  • Proficient in shipping and receiving, with excellent computer skills.
  • Strong communication skills and knowledge of POS and phone systems.
  • Extensive building maintenance experience and ability to multi-task under pressure.
  • Acute interpersonal skills and collaborative management style.
  • Familiarity with international parent companies.
  • Ability to lift between 0-25 lbs. without assistance.
