Job Description

Summary

As an Operations Manager at Hermès San Francisco, you will oversee all operational functions, ensuring efficiency and compliance in a luxury retail environment. You will work closely with the Operations Director and retail management team to support the client experience and operational growth.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee inventory control, housekeeping, maintenance, and selling service associates.
  • Manage shipping and receiving, ensuring timely merchandise movement and procedural adherence.
  • Supervise cash handling procedures and contribute to retail management as needed.
  • Coordinate with corporate departments and vendors for maintenance and IT needs.
  • Train staff on operational policies and emergency preparedness.
  • Manage budget expectations and identify cost efficiency opportunities.
  • Recruit and maintain a talent bank for operational positions.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of retail management experience, preferably in a luxury environment.
  • Proficient in shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to multitask under pressure.
  • Experience with building maintenance and POS systems.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. without assistance.
