Operations Manager - La Cantera

Summary

The Operations Manager is a member of the boutique leadership team responsible for managing the non-selling functions of the store. This role oversees payroll, POS operations, shipping and receiving, after-sales service, loss prevention, supply ordering, expense control, and facilities maintenance. The manager ensures operational accuracy and security while coordinating with corporate distribution and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Oversee compliance with company policies, security, inventory management, and record-keeping procedures.
• Train, coach, and manage associates on POS procedures, returns, alterations, safety, and security protocols.
• Monitor accuracy of receiving, transfers, damages, and return-to-vendor processes to maintain inventory integrity.
• Conduct regular inventory cycle counts and coordinate with central distribution and corporate inventory control.
• Manage payroll support, associate scheduling, and adherence to payroll budgets.
• Lock and secure the store and ensure opening/closing and security procedures are followed.
• Oversee facilities maintenance and operation of store equipment and systems.

Requirements

• Proven ability to manage store operations including payroll, customer service, shipping/receiving, alterations, and facilities.
• Ability to produce and maintain operational reports and accurate records.
• Proficiency with POS systems, inventory control systems, and related office equipment.
• Strong leadership skills to develop, train, and organize the workforce effectively.
• Ability to prioritize, exercise judgment and discretion, and deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.
