Operations Manager

Summary

The Operations Manager leads a team of approximately 20 warehouse associates at a high-volume distribution center. This role owns shift results across safety, quality, productivity, and cost, while driving team development and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse associates through clear expectations and consistent feedback.
• Manage shift-level financial results, monitor budgets and variances, and take corrective action.
• Drive continuous improvement through problem-solving, process ownership, and cross-shift coordination.
• Recruit, onboard, and train team members.
• Partner with other shifts and departments to support building-wide operations.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of warehouse experience in a managerial role.
• Experience identifying and implementing continuous improvement actions that improve cost, service, and quality.
• Demonstrated ability to develop employees and grow leadership competencies.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse KPIs and hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases.
• Ability to analyze data and act on improvement opportunities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
