Summary
Lead store operations and oversee stockroom, inventory accuracy, and operational processes while partnering with store leadership to support sales and deliver exceptional client service. Act as a manager on duty, drive operational excellence, and liaise with corporate departments to ensure smooth store functioning and compliance with procedures.
Responsibilities
- Lead day to day store operations and supervise operational team activities
- Oversee shipping receiving processes and resolve related issues
- Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts scheduled inventories and reconciliation
- Train new hires and coach staff on operating policies procedures and customer service
- Serve as Manager on Duty for floor coverage purchases and store opening and closing
- Identify operational inefficiencies and propose strategic improvements
- Maintain clear operations documentation and ensure adherence to guidelines
- Process repairs damages and manage merchandise movement including transfers
- Coordinate with corporate departments such as Inventory Planning Inventory Control and Accounts Payable
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years operations experience in retail luxury retail or service industry in a supervisory role
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical problem solving and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook
- Experience with internal retail systems and shipping software programs
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to train and develop operations team members and support openings closures and remodels
