Operations Professional - Short Hills

Summary

The Operations Professional supports back-of-house store operations in Short Hills, ensuring operational excellence and a seamless client experience. This role manages order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, shipping and receiving, and basic jewelry care and repairs. The Operations Professional partners with sales staff and management to drive store sales, service, and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Execute order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, replenishment, transfers, and related operational tasks.
• Clean and handle jewelry, accept repairs, and ensure proper care and handling of merchandise.
• Monitor and reconcile inventory using reports and systems; investigate and report discrepancies to management or corporate partners.
• Support sales by capturing client data, handling internal and external communications, and partnering with Sales Professionals to optimize opportunities.
• Follow company operational policies and procedures and support initiatives to improve store productivity and processes.

Requirements

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to work retail store hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Organized, flexible, and able to perform varied tasks based on business needs.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Preferred: college/university degree or Gemological Institute of America (GIA) coursework or graduate gemologist credential.
