Summary
The Operations Professional leads back of house operations in a luxury retail store delivering exceptional client service and supporting store leadership. This role acts as a key holder and manager on duty when needed, managing order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, shipping and receiving, and ensuring compliance with operational policies.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily operational tasks including order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, and replenishment
- Clean and handle jewelry and merchandise and process jewelry repairs
- Ensure inventory accuracy and comply with internal control procedures
- Coordinate work and mentor team members when acting as manager on duty
- Partner with sales staff and management to respond to client requests and follow up accurately
- Support store sales goals through operational and sales support functions
- Collect customer data to cultivate relationships and drive repeat business
- Implement hospitality and store amenities to enhance the client experience
- Resolve client and employee concerns using judgment and knowledge of policy and procedure
Requirements
- 2-3 years of retail operations experience with knowledge of merchandising and client service
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to work retail store hours including nights weekends and holidays
- Organized and detail oriented
- Flexibility to perform varied tasks based on business needs
- Authorization to work in the United States
- College degree or gemology coursework preferred
