Summary
Responsible for supporting store operations including customer service at the service desk, POS and cash services, order fulfillment and logistics. The role focuses on executing loss prevention and health and safety practices while ensuring high standards for client experience and fulfillment targets. The Operations Specialist will collaborate with operations and logistics teams and assist with training and ad hoc projects.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and serve as point of contact for customer issues
- Process transactions accurately and manage daily cash handling functions
- Monitor POS compliance and review transaction audit results to identify training needs
- Support order fulfillment including BOPIS, picking, packaging and meeting delivery deadlines
- Oversee client lists, e-receipt standards and service desk maintenance
- Support logistics tasks such as markdowns, reticketing and inventory preparations
- Assist with seasonal inventory counts and logistics audits
- Lead by example on loss prevention and health and safety best practices
- Collaborate with leadership on ad hoc operational projects and training
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of client facing experience at a service desk
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to drive customer loyalty
- Experience with shipping receiving merchandising order fulfillment and inventory management preferred
- Strong communication skills and understanding of policies and procedures
- Ability to multi task and manage high customer volumes calmly
- Demonstrated interest in technology to support retail customer service
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
