Operations Specialist

Summary

The Operations Specialist supports store operations by managing inventory flow, shipments, and stockroom organization to ensure merchandise is accurate and accessible for the sales team. This role partners with sales and operations teams to maintain Loro Piana standards, conduct audits and cycle counts, and facilitate timely deliveries to optimize sales performance.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming and outgoing shipments and manage transfers accurately.
• Replenish merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
• Conduct cycle counts and regular audits to verify quantities and product condition; report discrepancies.
• Organize and maintain clean, labeled stockrooms with an optimized layout for accessibility.
• Implement and support security measures through inspections and preparation of products for display.
• Coordinate with the operations team and external couriers to ensure accurate shipping procedures and timely delivery.
• Provide inventory availability updates to the sales team to support the sales process.

Requirements

• 3+ years of operational and inventory experience, preferably in a luxury retail environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and other digital tools.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of operations and inventory control processes.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 40 pounds.
