Operations Specialist - Pacific Centre

Summary

The Operations Specialist provides in-store operational support at the Pacific Centre location, reporting to the Operations Leader. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service at the service desk while managing POS, cash handling, and order fulfillment to support omni-channel operations. The Specialist also assists with logistics tasks, inventory activities, loss prevention, and training of operations staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality customer service at the service desk and act as point of contact for customer issues.
• Process transactions accurately, manage daily cash functions, and maintain POS compliance.
• Support omni order fulfillment, including BOPIS, picking, packaging, and meeting fulfillment targets.
• Assist logistics with receiving, merchandising, markdowns, reticketing, and seasonal inventory counts.
• Identify and report transaction discrepancies and lead loss prevention and health & safety best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of client-facing experience at a service desk or retail customer service role.
• Strong communication skills, service orientation, and ability to multitask in a busy retail environment.
• Experience or interest in retail technology and POS systems; ability to train team members.
• Ability to work collaboratively with logistics and store teams and support operational audits and standards.
• Experience with shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, and inventory management preferred.
