Summary
The Operations Supervisor supports Boutique Management by overseeing non selling functions of the boutique including shipping and receiving, inventory control, loss prevention, POS functions, facilities maintenance and other operational tasks to ensure efficient store performance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee shipping and receiving functions and verify purchase orders and ticketing
- Maintain orderly stock and receiving areas and general store maintenance
- Participate in inventory and cycle counts and monitor transfers and returns
- Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and security standards
- Train coach and manage associates on operations and POS procedures
- Produce and maintain operational reports and records
- Manage opening closing and security procedures including locking the store
- Assist with payroll management scheduling and adherence to payroll budgets
- Troubleshoot operational issues to support service efficiency and productivity
Requirements
- 3+ years of retail stock or operations experience
- Ability to work a full time schedule including varied hours nights weekends and holidays
- Strong interpersonal communication organization and follow through skills
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift and move merchandise and fixtures
- Familiarity with POS procedures returns and inventory management
- Willingness to adhere to company policies procedures regulations and standards
- Availability to travel as needed
