Operations Supervisor - Bal Harbour Shops

Summary

Operations Supervisor supporting a new store opening in Bal Harbour responsible for day-to-day operational efficiency, stock management and loss prevention. The role partners with the Store Manager to implement best practices, deliver training and lead operational projects to improve customer service and store performance. The supervisor also oversees health and safety, facilities and reporting to support commercial targets.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day store operations and identify process improvements to increase efficiency.
• Implement and manage loss prevention policies, stock control, weekly cycle counts and inventory processes.
• Conduct training for new hires and follow-up training on store systems such as Cegid.
• Lead operational projects for store openings and launches, acting as primary point of contact for store and HQ.
• Develop forecasting tools and deliver stock optimization analysis, reporting and forward planning.
• Own vendor and supplier relationships to reduce costs and improve service levels.
• Monitor P&L and identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency.
• Manage health and safety compliance and oversee store facilities.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years retail experience and at least 3 years managing people.
• Strong commercial acumen and a passion for customer service and the sales floor.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with retail systems (e.g., Cegid) preferred.
• Knowledge of U.S. retail laws, security and health and safety legislation.
• Ability to lead teams, prioritize tasks, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to work a retail schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Foreign language skills a plus.
