Job Description

Summary

The Operations Supervisor manages back-of-house operations and merchandise logistics to ensure accurate processing of shipments, inventory control, and timely replenishment aligned with sales potential. This role partners with store leadership to optimize processes, maintain organized stock rooms, and support team development through coaching and feedback.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of back-of-house staff and oversee daily operational duties.
  • Process shipments, transfers, and allocations accurately and efficiently.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishments based on sales potential.
  • Conduct cycle counts and regular audits to verify product quantities and conditions.
  • Oversee movement of merchandise from stock room to sales floor.
  • Identify and implement improvements to back-of-house processes.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager on performance management and provide feedback to team members.
  • Enforce company policies and maintain a safe, organized workspace.
  • Manage reservations and consignments according to guidelines.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of operational management experience, preferably in luxury retail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and other digital tools.
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of operations and inventory control best practices.
  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 40 pounds.
  • Experience conducting cycle counts and inventory audits.
  • Effective communication and coaching abilities.
