Summary
The Operations Supervisor is responsible for ensuring efficient merchandise flow from receipt to sales floor and maintaining stockroom organization to uphold brand standards. This role supports front and back of house operations, assists with visual merchandising changes, and contributes to team development and operational improvements.
Responsibilities
- Receive unpack shipments, inspect items for damage, verify pricing, and tag merchandise.
- Place merchandise on sales floor or in stockroom according to brand standards and execute replenishment activities.
- Maintain stockroom cleanliness and organization and lead stockroom reorganization and reset initiatives.
- Support sales floor associates with stock checks and deliver requested merchandise promptly.
- Execute price updates, reticketing, RFID tagging, and EAS device application.
- Coordinate processes between back of house and sales floor to meet productivity benchmarks.
- Lead projects to improve operational efficiency and implement process optimizations.
- Collaborate with merchandise manager on seasonal visual changes and maintain visual merchandising standards.
- Enforce company policies and support risk management and compliance activities.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of retail supervisory experience preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and knowledge of retail operations and policies.
- Proficiency with POS systems and Microsoft Office and general retail technology.
- Ability to maneuver around sales floor and stockroom, lift up to 30 lbs, and perform physical tasks.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, and weekends.
- Experience training and coaching team members and supporting talent acquisition activities.
- Ability to prioritize customer experience while managing operational tasks.
