Job Description

Summary

As an Operations Supervisor at Valley Fair, you will be responsible for managing the non-selling functions of the Boutique, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with company policies. You will work closely with the Boutique Management to oversee shipping, receiving, inventory control, and other operational tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate processing of store inventory through verification of purchase orders and auditing reports.
  • Maintain an orderly stock and receiving area, ensuring merchandise is properly ticketed and sensored.
  • Participate in inventory and cycle counts.
  • Oversee compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Train and manage associates in operations tasks such as POS procedures and safety protocols.
  • Monitor accuracy of receiving, transfers, damages, and returns-to-vendor.
  • Ensure security and compliance with safety codes and ordinances.
  • Produce and maintain operational reports and records.
  • Lock and secure the store, overseeing opening/closing procedures.
  • Assist with payroll management and scheduling of associates.
  • Provide outstanding customer service.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of retail stock associate experience with an operations background.
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle merchandise.
  • Willingness to adhere to company policies and standards.
  • Availability to travel as needed.
