Summary
The Operations Supervisor oversees back of house operations to ensure inventory accuracy, efficient shipping and receiving, organized stock rooms and high standards of operational excellence. This role supports store leadership with key holder duties, coordinates repairs and shipments, and aids the sales team to enhance the client experience.
Responsibilities
- Monitor sales floor stock and ensure pieces match current visual merchandising sets
- Communicate stock level and product quality issues to management to prevent shrink
- Maintain a clean organized stock room and reorganize BOH to maximize efficiency
- Perform shipping and receiving tasks efficiently and cost effectively
- Assist with store physical inventory and resolve discrepancies for cycle counts
- Support key holder duties such as opening and closing the store and POS closeouts
- Process damages monthly and track repairs and returns for stock and customer items
- Prepare corporate finance packs on a bi-monthly basis and document stock movement accurately
- Monitor store supply levels and manage consolidations and transfers within deadlines
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in retail operations or supervisory role
- Experience with shipping receiving and inventory control procedures
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for stock management
- Ability to perform key holder responsibilities and handle POS end of day tasks
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills when interacting with staff and clients
- Capability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines for transfers and shipments
- Customer facing skills for handling repairs and shipment inquiries
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and preparing finance documentation
