Summary
The Optical Sales Associate provides exceptional customer service, builds client relationships, and achieves sales targets while demonstrating in-depth product and brand knowledge. This part-time role supports omnichannel customer experiences and assists with minor adjustments and repairs in a luxury eyewear retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service and personalized product recommendations.
- Build and maintain client relationships with follow-up communication.
- Meet and exceed daily, weekly and monthly sales targets through upselling and cross-selling.
- Maintain product and brand knowledge including warranties and optical add-on features.
- Provide omnichannel support to ensure seamless online and in-store experiences.
- Assist with minor adjustments and repairs.
- Keep the sales floor and back of house areas clean and visually appealing.
- Adhere to brand policies and procedures and perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of retail sales experience, preferably in eyewear or luxury retail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with multitasking ability.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Punctual, reliable and a collaborative team player.
