Job Description

Summary

The Outlet Operations Leader oversees stockroom and operational activities for the outlet, leading a high-energy team to drive inventory accuracy, safety, and efficient merchandise flow. This role partners with cross-functional teams to maintain operational standards, improve processes, and ensure readiness of merchandise for customers and delivery partners. The leader fosters accountability and delivers exceptional service through coaching and metric-driven improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Train and lead the stock team on safety protocols, inventory policies, and operational procedures.
  • Oversee receipt, processing, storage, and transition of merchandise from truck to sales floor.
  • Ensure merchandise is properly tagged and monitor inventory accuracy and processing timelines.
  • Manage release of product to third-party delivery partners and customers with accuracy and service standards.
  • Authorize and manage destruction of product marked out of stock (MOS) per company policy.
  • Ensure operational interactions with customers and delivery partners reflect company service expectations.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of leadership experience in retail, preferably in home furnishings.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; experience with inventory management systems.
  • Proficiency with Mac OS, iOS devices, Microsoft Office, and Google applications.
  • Adaptable, resilient, and solutions-focused with flexibility to work varied operational hours.
  • Ability to lift and move items in excess of 100 lbs using proper equipment and safety techniques.
  • Capable of prolonged standing and performing physical tasks including twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending, and climbing.
