Job Description

Summary

Lead and develop a high-energy stock and operations team for an outlet location, ensuring operational excellence, inventory accuracy, and safety. Partner with cross-functional teams to drive efficient merchandise flow from receipt to sales floor and support exceptional customer and delivery partner experiences. Champion quality, accountability, and continuous improvement to meet performance metrics and service standards.

Responsibilities

  • Train and develop the stock team on safety protocols and inventory policies.
  • Oversee receipt, processing, and transition of merchandise from truck to storage to sales floor.
  • Ensure merchandise is properly tagged and monitor inventory accuracy and processing timelines.
  • Manage release of product to third-party delivery partners and customers with accuracy and service focus.
  • Authorize and manage destruction of product marked out of stock according to policy.
  • Foster operational accountability and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Maintain operational interactions that reflect company service standards.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of leadership experience in retail, preferably in home furnishings.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency with Mac operating systems, iOS devices, Microsoft Office, and Google applications.
  • Experience with inventory management systems and processes.
  • Adaptable and solutions-focused with flexibility to work a dynamic schedule across operational hours.
  • Ability to lift and move items in excess of 100 lbs using proper equipment and safety techniques.
