Summary
The Outlet Operations Leader is responsible for building and leading a results-driven stock team to ensure the efficient flow of merchandise and exceptional operational standards. This role champions inventory accuracy, safety compliance, and strong cross-functional collaboration to deliver outstanding customer and delivery experiences. The leader drives continuous improvement of processing timelines and operational metrics while fostering a culture of accountability and quality.
Responsibilities
- Train and develop the stock team on safety protocols, inventory policies, and operational best practices.
- Oversee receipt, processing, and movement of merchandise from truck to storage to sales floor, ensuring accuracy and readiness for customers.
- Maintain inventory integrity by ensuring proper tagging and monitoring key metrics such as inventory accuracy and processing timelines.
- Coordinate and authorize product releases to third-party delivery partners and customers, ensuring accuracy and service standards.
- Manage disposition processes including authorized destruction of product marked out of stock (MOS) per company policy.
- Ensure operational interactions with customers and delivery partners meet company service expectations.
Requirements
- 2+ years of leadership experience in retail, preferably in home furnishings.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a solutions-focused mindset.
- Experience with inventory management systems and proficiency with Mac OS, iOS devices, Microsoft Office, and Google applications.
- Flexibility to work a dynamic schedule across all operational hours and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to lift and move items in excess of 100 lbs., maneuver throughout the sales floor and stockroom, and perform prolonged standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, and climbing.
