Outlet Receiving Associate - Bergen Town Center

Summary

The Outlet Receiving Associate is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and processing incoming merchandise at the outlet location in Bergen Town Center. This part-time role supports inventory accuracy and store presentation by ensuring shipments are handled efficiently and stored properly. The position requires attention to detail, safe handling of merchandise, and collaboration with store and stockroom teams.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against packing lists and purchase orders.
• Inspect merchandise for damage, label and tag items, and update inventory records.
• Move merchandise to the sales floor or stockroom and maintain organized stock areas.
• Operate pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment safely and in compliance with store procedures.
• Assist with periodic inventory counts, cycle counts, and resolving inventory discrepancies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years of retail, warehouse, or receiving experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks safely.
