Summary

The Receiving Associate supports merchandise and supply receipt and dispatch, helping drive sales and profit through efficient processing and organized stockroom standards. The role also assists selling team members in providing a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, unpack, and prepare merchandise and supplies for the sales floor.
• Process receipts and dispatches, including tagging and ticketing merchandise.
• Complete price changes, damages, salvages, and job outs; receive and record trailer deliveries.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe stockroom while maximizing available space.
• Follow operational procedures for asset protection, access control, risk management, and merchandise processing.
• Support selling team members as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural manuals.
• Comfort using computers and multiple technology devices.
• Availability to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, climb ladders, and frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds.
