Job Description

Summary

Responsible for receiving and processing inbound merchandise at the outlet, ensuring accuracy and timely movement of stock to the sales floor or stockroom. Inspects shipments for damages and discrepancies and documents findings in inventory systems. Operates receiving equipment and supports inventory and cycle counts as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments; verify counts against packing lists and purchase orders.
  • Record discrepancies and report damaged or missing items; coordinate with vendors or merchandise team as required.
  • Tag, label, and route merchandise to the sales floor or stockroom accurately and efficiently.
  • Use handheld scanners and inventory management systems to update records and reconcile variances.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe receiving area and follow loss prevention procedures.
  • Assist with inventory counts, transfers, and price changes as directed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of retail receiving, warehouse, or stockroom experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with handheld scanners or inventory systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work as part of a team; flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
