Part-time Outlet Receiving Associate responsible for receiving, inspecting, and organizing incoming merchandise at an outlet location in the Upper West Side. The role supports store operations by ensuring accurate intake and timely processing of shipments to maintain inventory integrity and availability.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload shipments following company procedures
• Inspect incoming merchandise for defects and accuracy
• Sort and tag items for inventory and floor placement
• Update receiving records and communicate discrepancies
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized receiving area
• Operate hand trucks and other receiving equipment safely

Requirements

• 1 year of related experience or equivalent
• Basic inventory or stockroom experience preferred
• Ability to lift and move merchandise safely
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Flexible availability to work retail hours including weekends
