Job Description

Summary

As an Outside Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for achieving key business objectives within your territory, including volume and revenue growth. You will develop and maintain excellent working relationships with both existing and potential customers, analyzing regional competitive factors and recommending strategies for continued growth.

Responsibilities
  • Visit existing customers and maintain strong business relationships.
  • Identify and build relationships with potential new customers.
  • Negotiate and review commercial agreements with customers annually.
  • Implement business development programs to drive growth.
  • Facilitate training seminars on product and practice management.
  • Attend trade shows, continuing education events, and conventions.
  • Promote new products and promotional programs.
  • Analyze sales reports and take corrective action as needed.
  • Develop and execute detailed territory plans.
  • Increase sales and net revenues in the territory.
  • Identify opportunities for market retention and growth.
  • Travel as required, including nights and weekends.
Requirements
  • University degree or diploma in business, optics, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' work experience in sales, optical industry experience an asset.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and customer care skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
