Part Time Beauty Sales - Barton Creek Square Mall

Summary

Part-time Beauty Sales team member responsible for creating personalized beauty experiences and building customer loyalty through in-store and digital selling. You will provide makeup applications, skincare analyses, and product recommendations while supporting luxury beauty brands. The role requires meeting sales goals, supporting events and appointments, and maintaining a customer-ready environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform makeup applications and skincare consultations to recommend products based on customer goals
• Engage customers to build relationships and drive both in-store and digital sales using tools like text and social media
• Book appointments and support beauty events and services to drive sales
• Collaborate with team members to create an inclusive, welcoming environment and maintain department organization and cleanliness
• Process sales, refunds, and exchanges and assist customers with Nordstrom Rewards account enrollment
• Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through trainings provided by Nordstrom and brand partners

Requirements

• Passion for beauty, makeup application, skincare, and strong customer service skills
• Ability to connect with customers, handle concerns proactively, and provide empathetic service during applications
• Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills with a drive to achieve sales goals
• Interest and ability to use digital selling tools and networking to grow customer following
• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
• Physical ability to be on your feet 6-8 hours per shift, frequently bend/reach, and lift up to 25 pounds
