Summary

The Finance Business Partner - Consolidation is responsible for consolidating the financial results, forecasts and budgets for Chanel Canada’s three operating divisions and corporate cost centers. Based in Candiac, QC, the role prepares monthly consolidated P&L reports, analyzes variances and transforms financial results into actionable insights and recommendations. The position coordinates close and forecast deadlines and serves as the primary finance contact for consolidation activities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial reports and consolidate income statements for the three divisions.
• Validate data, analyze variances and explain results against budget, forecasts and prior year.
• Translate financial results and KPIs into clear findings and actionable recommendations.
• Coordinate forecast and month-end close timelines, follow up on missing data and resolve issues.
• Prepare final submissions and coordinate the annual financial planning schedule and related deadlines.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate finance or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of financial planning, consolidation, variance analysis and reporting controls.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational and multitasking skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills and interest in leveraging innovative tools, including AI.
• Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.
