Summary
Responsible for performing payroll functions to ensure smooth efficient procedures and legal compliance. Assist with processing bi-weekly payroll using UltiPro, manage time and attendance, maintain payroll records, and support retirement plan and audit activities.
Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll accurately using Ultimate Software UltiPro
- Manage Time and Attendance with staff and supervisors
- Process and verify payroll changes deductions garnishments and manual checks
- Coordinate resolution with payroll system representatives
- Support retirement plan processing and audits
- Coordinate workers compensation audits related to payroll
- Maintain confidential payroll files and filing system
- Research and resolve payroll questions from managers and employees
- Assist Finance with clerical and administrative duties as needed
Requirements
- Associates degree in Accounting Business or related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years experience in payroll
- Knowledge of wage and hour laws and basic accounting
- Experience with payroll processing software and incentive pay calculations preferred
- Strong computer skills in MS Office including advanced Excel
- High proficiency with VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize multitask and meet deadlines
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
