Summary
The People Partner will serve as a strategic HR business partner for retail operations in the Las Vegas market, driving talent management, performance, and employee relations. This role delivers HR guidance and solutions across hiring, onboarding, performance management, and development initiatives while partnering closely with store and market leadership. The People Partner will support recruitment for store leadership, lead training and onboarding, and analyze HR trends to align talent strategies with business goals.
Responsibilities
- Provide timely HR advice and ensure consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Manage hiring, offers, separations, exit interviews, and separation agreements for stores in the market.
- Coach and develop retail managers to improve selling and service performance and drive engagement.
- Lead performance management processes including performance improvement, documentation, and outcomes.
- Facilitate new hire orientation, onboarding, and in-store training; deliver 30/60/90 probationary evaluations.
- Partner with managers on talent reviews, development plans, and internal mobility.
- Analyze business and HR trends, provide monthly reports, and influence cross-functional partners to support talent strategies.
- Manage full sourcing and recruitment for Team Managers and above, maintain candidate pipelines, and liaise with agencies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, including at least 2 years in a management position.
- Relevant experience in a luxury fashion retail environment leading HR functions.
- Strong knowledge of employment practices and demonstrated employee relations experience handling complex performance and grievance issues.
- Ability to coach managers, influence without authority, and work cross-functionally in a matrixed environment.
- Flexibility for domestic travel and the ability to work across multiple locations and visit stores regularly.
- Ability to plan and manage multiple performance management issues and follow up on activities to maximize impact.
