Performance Activewear Design Intern

Summary

Compensated 10-week corporate internship for rising senior undergraduates to gain hands-on experience with the World of Sport design team, supporting projects such as the Summer Olympics, Wimbledon, US Open, and RLX. The role involves learning design processes, collaborating on research and presentations, and contributing to cross-functional projects in a hybrid workplace.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market and competitor research for activewear projects
• Create sketches and CADs using Illustrator and Photoshop
• Organize presentation boards, palettes, research materials, and samples
• Shadow designers during hand-off and attend fittings and design meetings
• Support creation and organization of line sheets in Adobe XD
• Work with the PLM system to maintain design data
• Help the team meet design calendar deadlines and milestones

Requirements

• Must be a full-time undergraduate entering final semester or year with graduation in Dec 2026 or May 2027
• Authorized to work in the United States and reside within commutable distance to NY, NJ, or NC office
• Available for the full 10-week internship
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office; 3D and PLM experience a plus
• Understanding of garment construction and cut and sew knit fabrications
• Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills
• Curious, proactive team player with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
