Planning Intern

Summary

Paid 9-week summer internship based in New York focused on planning and analytics within a luxury jewelry company. The role provides hands-on experience with sales analysis, reporting, forecasting, and system implementation while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Interns will receive mentorship, networking opportunities, and attend learning events.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth sales analysis to inform strategic decision-making
• Compile and audit data to generate standard and ad hoc reports
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reporting tasks
• Collaborate with buying and merchandising teams in integrated business planning
• Assist with onboarding and implementation of new reporting and financial planning systems
• Support data modeling and forecasting activities
• Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through written and verbal updates

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program with a minimum 3.0 GPA
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in data modeling and forecasting techniques
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Experience with SQL or willingness to use SQL for reporting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
