Job Description

Summary

Support the Press and VIP Associate and Manager with press related activities including sample management, stylist and media communications, reporting, organization, events and gifting. Role is based in the Melrose shop and is part of a formal school credit internship program running Jan 5 2026 to Apr 24 2026. This is an unpaid internship requiring eligibility for school credit.

Responsibilities

  • Manage sample requests, send outs and deliveries using Fashion GPS and ensure showroom merchandising and organization
  • Coordinate messenger and delivery services for samples and materials
  • Assist with stylist selections and communicate with stylists and their assistants
  • Handle store pulls, recording and returns of samples
  • Liaise with LA Studio Services to coordinate fittings and communications with media talent and stylists
  • Maintain press office presentation and organization
  • Perform tailoring and dry cleaning tasks for sample care
  • Compile daily press and social tracking and prepare in-house reports including VIP trends events and comparative analysis
  • Draft market outreach and research cultural and industry trends aligned with brand strategy

Requirements

  • Actively enrolled in an accredited university program and eligible for school credit
  • Extremely detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently as a self-starter
  • Team player with ability to work closely with management and cross functional teams
  • Genuine enthusiasm for luxury fashion and the Paul Smith brand
  • Flexibility to work variable hours to meet business demands
  • Responsible for own housing and travel arrangements during the program
