Job Description

Summary

Lead technical architecture and engineering strategy for inventory technology platforms supporting real-time inventory visibility, movement, and traceability. Guide engineering teams and apply scalable systems, cloud technologies, and AI-driven practices to improve platform reliability and productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Set technical direction across engineering teams and the Inventory Technology portfolio.
  • Architect and develop scalable, event-driven systems for inventory visibility and logistics.
  • Lead engineers across teams, mentor senior engineers, and collaborate with technology and business leaders.
  • Improve system performance, security, reliability, and operational practices.
  • Build prototypes and apply AI and agentic architectures to engineering workflows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Java and Python, and extensive AWS and/or GCP experience.
  • Experience with scalable architecture, event-driven systems, DevOps, CI/CD, containers, and secure software development.
  • Experience mentoring engineers and solving complex engineering problems at scale.
  • Agentic AI, generative AI, supply chain, inventory management, warehouse systems, or RFID experience is beneficial.
