Summary
The Print Design Lead drives seasonal print research, development, and execution across the Women's Polo business. This role shapes print direction from concept through production, balancing creative vision and technical expertise with brand aesthetic and business objectives. The position collaborates with cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver commercially relevant print solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead seasonal print research, concept development, and execution across multiple product categories.
- Create original print designs, artwork, patterns, color palettes, and presentations, and present creative recommendations to leadership and partners.
- Collaborate with design, merchandising, product development, production, mills, and vendors to bring designs from concept through production.
- Review strike-offs, lab dips, artwork, and samples, ensuring technical accuracy, quality, and design intent.
- Manage seasonal artwork libraries, archives, development trackers, and timelines; identify workflow improvements.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers and contribute print design expertise to the team.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in print, textile, graphic, or apparel design, preferably with premium or luxury fashion brands.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Expertise in print development, repeat engineering, color management, and production-ready artwork.
- Experience leading seasonal projects and working with global vendors, mills, and development partners.
- Strong knowledge of fabric and product development, trend forecasting, color, print, and pattern.
- Excellent presentation, communication, organization, and project management skills, with the ability to manage priorities and influence cross-functional partners.
