Summary
The Process Engineer will improve on-time delivery, reduce costs, and maintain quality and safety by evaluating, refining, and optimizing manufacturing processes. This hands-on role collaborates with Manufacturing to perform root cause analysis, test and validate improvements, support new product integration, and maintain process documentation and controls.
Responsibilities
- Support Manufacturing to resolve production issues and ensure on-time delivery
- Perform root cause analysis and execute experiments to validate solutions
- Update or create SOPs and train personnel on process controls
- Write CMRs to update BOMs, routes, MES instructions and drawings
- Lead new process and process improvement projects with qualification tests
- Develop and implement process control parameters and fixturing changes
- Validate and update MES instructions, drawings, and manufacturing documentation
- Track project metrics including financial impact and defect reduction
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering with 8+ years related experience or Master in Engineering with 2+ years experience
- Experience with time study or work measurement standards development
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with emphasis on teamwork
- Ability to create and communicate technical manufacturing documentation
- Solid analytical, research, project, and time management skills
- Experience with good documentation practices and cGMP standards
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, deliverables, and schedules
