Production Artisan

Summary

Produce high-quality luxury handbags and small leather goods as a member of a Texas manufacturing workshop. The role supports safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity objectives while developing skills across multiple production departments. Training is provided to build technical competence and advance in a manufacturing career.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the manufacturing of luxury handbags and small leather goods in a safe manner
• Meet performance objectives for safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity while maintaining an organized work area
• Work flexibly across production departments such as assembly, preparation, and cutting
• Identify improvement opportunities and participate in continuous improvement projects
• Collaborate with other departments on development of new products and perform other duties as assigned
• Be punctual, organized, and available to work overtime as needed

Requirements

• Team-oriented with the ability to follow detailed instructions and processes
• Ability to operate equipment and manual tools and use hands with coordination and dexterity
• Knowledge of sewing on leather or canvas is a plus; comprehensive training provided
• Fluency in English and/or Spanish with the ability to read and write either language
