Job Description

Summary

As a Production Associate, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process of ophthalmic lenses, frames, and sunglasses. You will be part of a dynamic team focused on operational excellence and innovation, ensuring high-quality vision care products are delivered to consumers worldwide.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain machinery in the coating, finishing, or surfacing areas.
  • Clip, secure, and inspect lenses to ensure optical and cosmetic accuracy.
  • Utilize bevel wheels, edging machines, and other equipment to prepare lenses for frames.
  • Apply protective tape and perform cosmetic inspections on lenses.
  • Stand and walk for the duration of shifts, working with and around chemicals.
  • Meet measurable standards in a dynamic production environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of related work experience, preferably in manufacturing or lab settings.
  • High mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
