Job Description

Summary

As a Production Associate, you will play a crucial role in creating eyeglasses that improve lives by enhancing sight. Working in a dynamic production environment, you will be part of a team dedicated to crafting beautiful prescription eyewear, ensuring each pair meets high-quality standards before reaching our valued customers.

Responsibilities
  • Operate machines to prepare lenses, including shaping, cleaning, and inserting them into matching frames.
  • Inspect final products to ensure they meet quality standards before shipping.
  • Focus on specific areas such as coating, finishing, or surfacing, with opportunities for cross-training.
  • Perform tasks such as clipping, machine operation, beveling, mounting, edging, tinting, and inspecting lenses.
  • Utilize equipment for blocking, polishing, washing, and de-blocking lenses.
Requirements
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred, but job experience will be considered.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to meet measurable standards in a production environment.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Capability to walk/stand for the duration of the shift and perform repetitive movements.
  • Ability to regularly lift 10 pounds.
